Driver Pound was some years ago employed at the ‘Hastings Chronicle” office in Havelock Road. The above photograph shows him with his wife and eight children. The ninth, his eldest daughter, is not shown. In his letter he mentioned that his youngest child, born during the battle of Ypres, has been named Robert Ypres Pound”.
