Other Info:<\/em>\u00a0A wedding of considerable interest took place on Wednesday February 6th 1918 at Christ Church, St Leonards, by the Rev. G. W. Douglas. The bridegroom was Corporal Stanley White<\/a> of Lakefield, Ontario, Canada. The bride was Miss Florence Emily Lewis. The groomsman was Private Lawrence Charlton of Ontario, Canada. The bride wore a dress of Georgette with wreath of orange blossoms and veil and carried a sheaf of lilies. The bridesmaid was Miss Dora Baxter, Hilside, Braybrooke Road. Her dress was silk eolienne with over-dress of Maltese lace. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was a gold wish-bone brooch with pearl centre. The happy couple subsequently left for Bristol for the honeymoon.<\/p>\n
