Douglas… The groomsman was Private Lawrence Charlton<\/a> of Ontario, Canada. The bride wore a dress of Georgette with wreath of orange blossoms and veil and carried a sheaf of lilies. The bridesmaid was Miss Dora Baxter, Hilside, Braybrooke Road. Her dress was silk eolienne with over-dress of Maltese lace. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was a gold wish-bone brooch with pearl centre. The happy couple subsequently left for Bristol for the honeymoon.<\/p>\n
