Other Info:<\/em>\u00a0At Walmer. Was one of the survivors aboard HMS Bayano which was torpedoed on March 11th 1915. He was saved (after clinging to rafts for five hours with other members of the crew) by Captain J Foster and the crew of Balmarino. Mr Rolfe was taken to County Hospital, Ayr with three others. He was most kindly treated. Then he was taken to Portsmouth and from there sent home for 14 days leave. He has now returned to Portsmouth.<\/p>\n
